Instructions:

Greetings. I’m Bahri and I’m a hair formula expert and instructor. Today I want to explain four different theoretical concepts.

Our first concept is sunlight. There are two main types of sunlight. The first type is where the hair stem is dyed from the middle without leaving a line, meaning the line is faded, and the stem is colored using warm colors. The upper half of the stem is always darker. Warm colors are copper, wine, chocolate, tobacco, and gold. We can use any of these colors to dye half the hair stem. Half the stem can be dyed with these colors. This is one type of sunlight, which is the first one.

There is another type of sunlight. For this type of sunlight, you have to dye the hair background to a copper color and then make gold-colored highlights on top of the background. Therefore, we dye the background using a copper color and then use a gold color on top for the highlight. Which is also a type of sunlight dye. Since it’s sunlight, you have to use warm colors using the spectrum I depicted and for the second type, you could use copper or something leaning toward orange and then apply a gold highlight on top. Therefore, you could use both these methods and since warm colors are fashionable, you could get very nice results.

For the next item, we want to talk about half-light. If this is the client’s head, then we separate the hair two centimeters above the ears and then dye this part using a blond color. The rest of the hair is usually darker. This dark color can be anything. It could be chocolate, wine, or brown. Therefore, you could use any dark color, but the top must always be a light color. The half-light method is also known as D-light and daylight.

It’s sometimes possible to separate the hair vertically and dye half of it darker and the other half lighter. This is also a half-light since half the hair is lighter and the other half, dark. Daylight or D-light is taken from the fact that if you put your hand on half the design, you’ll get a D shaped light and the other side is an inverted D. The same is true for the other type since half the head always look like a D. As I said, it’s also known as daylight since the lighter half is our day and the darker one the night. So this dye technique has three names, daylight, because the two halves are night and day, D-light, since because if the shape of the highlights, and half-light, since the hair is split into two different color spectruMs. Now we want to talk about moonlights, which is the opposite of the previous method. In the previous method, the top was lighter and the rest of the dye a little darker. Now for this item the top of the hair is darker and the lower part light. You can, however, change the size of the splits without any issue. Therefore, the upper half is dark and the lower half is lighter which is to signify day and night. This method is the opposite of our daylight method, which we just explained.

Our last method is called a teasing light. Tease light is a method, which falls under the category of balayage. Which means it’s dyeing the hair in the open air without any type of cover. This method is often used for very short hair, which is hard to wrap in a foil or foam wrap. We tease the hair so the strands are pushed down near the root and only a thin layer of the hair remains. When you tease the hair like that, the rest of the hair stands upright. At the end, you’ll end up having most of the hair teased close to the root and a thin layer of hair standing upright. Now if you have a dark hair, you’ll have to bleach it first, but if the hair is light or blond, you can use opposite colors such as wine, or chocolate colors to dye the hair. So if the hair is dark we have to bleach but if it’s light, we can just dye the hair with an opposite color such as wine, or chocolate.

Now you can dye the hair if you’ve performed a bleach, or you can rinse the hair if you’ve dyed it. After a rinse, you’ll have a thin layer of hair dyed to the color of your choosing which looks very nice. Thank you for watching and I hope these items are useful and you’ll take advantage of the methods in your work. Goodbye.
