Greetings. I’m Parvane Habibi, hair expert from Chatr-e-Gol Academy. Today I want to show you a bob haircut.

Separate a thin batch of hair from the back and hold it in a zero-degree angle. Cut the hair horizontally. After cutting the first part, us it as a guide, and separate more thin batches. You can also shear the hair a little. When you cut the way I showed you, if you let the hair fall in its natural form, you can notice the hair is a little longer on the corners. This is exactly how we want this cut to look.

Do the same for the other side. Pull it to the side a little and then cut. When you let it fall, it’s going to be longer than the middle. Continue like this until reaching the top of the hair. Again, separate the middle first and cut horizontally. Use the previous cuts as a guide and cut with a little angle. If you cut the hair in a higher angle, it’s not going to look like a bob haircut anymore. Pull it to the middle and cut in a lower degree
The last part of the hair should be cut the same way.

After we finish cutting the hair in the back, we can move on to cutting the sides. For the side, you have to cut with the same angle here. Since the hair is longer at this point, if we use it as a guide, the rest of the hair will also be longer. Choose a thin layer from the side. You can either use a blade or a scissor. Cut diagonally. This also based on the client’s preference. You can cut it a little longer or shorter. Separate another batch and start cutting based on the guide. You have to shear it a little to blend it with the rest of the hair. This will give the hair a nice look and volume. So then, we cut the hair diagonally at a low degree. We do the exact same thing for the other side of the head and cut it layer after layer.

After cutting all the sides the way I showed you, the cut must be checked. You can postpone this check to after drying and brushing the hair. When the hair is dry and brushed thoroughly, check it and cut all the excess.
