Instructions:

Greetings to all of you watching us from Rojelab.net. Many people, who are interested in cosmetics, and especially hairstyling and formula related fields, might have many questions. We all know correct and up to date training is one of the factors that can guarantee your success in the market. For this purpose, we have invited Mrs. Shady Homayouni here today to answer some of your questions.

Greetings. I’m Shady Homayouni and I’m a hairstylist and formula expert. There are different classes that promote different abilities in teaching and timelines. Some classes propose that they can teach all the concepts related to working with formulas in one session only and others take one to two months. What do you think is the required time to teach these concepts and what are the indicators of standard training. Working in cosmetics, including working with formulas, require certain expertise.

The theoretical instructions are rather short and can be taught in a short period. However, you will need to practice on actual models to learn perfect the methods. This will enable you to experience the work up close and learn how each technique is applied in the real world, which is the most important factor in your learning process. You should keep in mind that this will take a considerably longer time around three to six months.

Which concepts do you cover in your classes. We start from the most basic concepts and continue to the advanced concepts. We start with color concepts and understanding colors with a special focus on the color triangle, mixing colors, and neutralizers. We will focus on how different and new color tones can be created by mixing the different amount of fundamental colors. Understanding the right mixture to get the color you want can be tricky and we’ll try to teach you all the methods and ups and downs of mixing colors. Memorizing color mixtures isn’t the right way to go. If you learn the methods and understand how colors work, you will be able to create any color tone you want and will be able to tell how each color tone is created without knowing the exact mix. Therefore, instead of learning different mixtures, we will learn the foundations of working with colors.

After understanding how to work with colors, we will teach you techniques. There are many different techniques. However, the main techniques, which have a wide range of use and are famous in European and western and even Arab countries are Ombre and Sombre. These techniques are taught using different methods. We will cover all these methods and techniques such as open-air dye, foil wraps, Meche, and many other techniques. We will talk about shadow Ombre that is a new type of highlight. We’ll cover contouring and baby lights. I would recommend that you should all learn contour and be familiar with all the techniques in this area as well as you can. A cosmetic artist or stylist must know contour and knowing this is one of the most important topics if you want to work with hair and face makeup. There’s also strobing which we have already talked about in previous videos.

Another topic, which is important to cover, is dye removal and whether we can remove any type of dye or not. The correct way to bleach without damaging the cortex or the hair is also one of our topics. We’ll talk about the material you should use and the correct oxidants and how to avoid damaging the scalp tissue. We’ll talk about decoloring or bleaching short roots or longer ones after the hair grows longer. Each of these situations requires expertise and use of different methods.

We’ll talk about restoration and hair recovery using new organic material which is now available in the market. We have different methods to do these. You could use different types of Botox. Fast acting Botox, Botox using heat, steamer, and Botox using hair iron. Nevertheless, using each one of these methods depends on the situation and the type of hair you are working with. We’ll cover Keratin hair and straightening coupled with hair recovery which is some of the most recent topics in the field. We’ve covered hair straightening on previous videos for natural hair, dark hair, and for hair with a dye. We can’t do the same process on a decolored and damaged hair. It’s important to know exactly what type of material you should use for this type of process.

An important subject, which we will cover in our classes, is to understand and recognize different products. You should understand what constitutes a standard product and know what product should be used in any given situation and how to use them. We will explain different types of Botox, Keratin and dye products as well. Upon graduating from your training courses, we will stand by your side and continue to support you for six months after graduation so you can contact us and ask us any questions you might have or problems you might be facing during your work.

Will there be any certificates provided to the trainees. After graduation, you will receive a valid qualification receipt or certification, which you can provide to any institute or to use internationally in other countries. I hope to see you all in our classes. Remember that choosing the right training can affect your future prospects and your work. Until next time, goodbye.
