Greeting. I’m Maryam Ebrahimpour. I’m a hairstylist and formula expert and instructor. In this tutorial, I want to show you a street blunt haircut. For this our street blunt haircut, you can use an electric cutter or scissors. I’ll use an electric cutter for this tutorial.
I’ll separate a layer of hair. It’s on the left side. I’ll separate another layer in a similar manner from the back. In a street blunt haircut, you should cut in straight lines whether using scissors or a cutter. For this tutorial the hair is dry and hence we can use a machine cutter, but if you want to dampen the hair, you must use scissors.
You can cut the hair based on the size you cut in the front. Whatever size you choose on the front will determine the size of the cut for the rest of the hair. The size of the cut depends on you. You can either use a brush to hold the hair or with your hands. I’m going to use a brush to hold the hair and cut up to the neck. This is the size of our cut. As you can see, the cut is in a straight line. We will do the same for the rest of the hair.
Our cut will be at a zero degree angle. You can also hold the hair with your brush and use the cutter to determine the point of the cut and then cut the hair. I’ll use the hair on the left as a guide to determine the size of the cut on the right. Cut the right side as well and then when you are sure the two sides are the same length, you can continue to cut the rest of the hair. As you can see the two sides are the same, so now I can move on to cut the hair around the whole head. Hold the hair and use your cutter to cut the hair.
First, determine the right size for the cut and then use your guide to cut the hair. When you’ve determined your guide for the cut, hold the hair and complete the cut like this. As you can see, the cut is completely straight. Since this is a model hair, it’s a little lopsided by default and you might think the cut is a little diagonal, but holding it with a brush shows that it’s completely straight.
This haircut tutorial is over.
I hope you have enjoyed it. I’ve now taught you how to check the cut using both cutters and scissors. To join our classes, please contact us at the numbers provided in the description. Until next time, goodbye.
