Greetings. I’m Parvane Habibi. I’m a hairstylist expert and instructor at Chatr-E-Gol Beauty Academy. Today I want to show you a coup haircut.

Today I’m going to show you two different styles of a coup. There are different types of coup haircut. One of them is the long coup. For this type of coup, we have to separate the hair in the front from one ear to the other. You have to cut the hair like this. Hold the hair on the length you want in the front. Continue the cut diagonally. The important point is to cut it with your hand parallel to the group. Hold the hair like this while twisting your hand and then cut to get a diagonal cut. We want this cut and after, we can shear the hair a bit. Do the same for the other side.

Hold the hand parallel to the ground and cut the hair in an inverted V shape. Check the two sides to make sure they are the same length after the cut it completed. Now you can shear the hair as you see fit. This is a simple diagonal coup and is popular among many. The hair will look like needles after it’s brushed. I’ll brush the hair and show you the result.

As you can see, in this coup the hair is cut diagonally. This look is very suitable for people with straight hair. You can use a shearing blade to shear the hair to form the needle look of the hair. The second coup I want to teach you is famous among teenage girls and has become even more popular recently. For this coup, separate the bangs. The bangs are cut diagonally across and have a special look. Depending on the direction of the diagonal cut, you can start on the left or right.

Separate a thin layer of hair where you want to make the cut on the bangs. Start cutting the hair while holding it in your hand in a zero degree angle. This will act as our guide for the rest of the cut. The cut can be shorter than this as well. After the initial cut, separate another layer and cut the hair with a slight slope. You can cut the hair in V and inverted V shapes or you can cut normally. Brush the hair on the side to the back. It depends on what your client wants. You can also add more layers of hair to the bang to add more volume. However, the bangs would look much better at the current volume of hair.
